Experience the most from your Colorado vacation as you enjoy the majestic splendor of the Southern San Juan mountains at Wolf Creek Pass from horseback. We have many different tour options to suit your family with horseback rides available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Our guides are real cowboys with the knowledge and expertise to make your ride an unforgettable experience regardless of your riding ability. Whether you are interested in a quick trip with a fabulous view or a full day mountain adventure, we have options to provide you with a fantastic vacation experience.
Wolf Creek Outfitters, INC is located at the base of Wolf Creek Pass, approximately 15 miles NE of Pagosa Springs, CO. Reservations are appreciated but not required. Want to stay near the horses? We are located at the Bruce Spruce Ranch which has accommodations to fit any budget from tent camping, RV space, rustic log cabins to a modern 5 bedroom lodge!! TRAIL RIDE RATES
1 Hour Horseback ~ $30
2 Hour Horseback ~ $45
1/2 Day Horseback ~ $75
All Day Horseback ~ $125
One or two hour rides take you around the scenic base of Wolf Creek Pass. With a half day trip you will find yourself atop 10,000' Windy Pass. Those in for a full day of adventure will enjoy the all day ride up turkey creek, or a peaceful ride through West Fork (the West Fork ride includes a stop at the all natural hot springs). Special arrangements can also be made for a trip through the Continental Divide, please call for more information on these options.
